The Culture of Death Is Dying: An Apocalypse

Those attempting to usher in a new dark age are failing.  They have for a time duped many others into drinking the poison of entitlement and self righteousness.  Their vision of society is a spiritual slum filled with angry and lazy people who shun hard work and envy those who prosper.  Those who abhor reality and who hate themselves make life burdensome by their contempt and lack of mercy toward people of goodwill.  No one wants to live in their slum.

Psalm 43 |  Give sentence with me, O God, and defend my cause against the ungodly people; O deliver me from the deceitful and wicked man.  For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou put me from thee? and why go I so heavily, while the enemy oppresseth me?  O send out thy light and thy truth, that they may lead me, and bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy dwelling.  And that I may go unto the altar of God, even unto the God of my joy and gladness; and upon the harp will I give thanks unto thee, O God, my God.  Why art thou so heavy, O my soul? and why art thou so disquieted within me?  O put thy trust in God; for I will yet give him thanks, which is the help of my countenance, and my God.

The culture of death, like sand and ash, is scattering in the wind.  A movement is at its end when hatred is all that remains of its passion. Hope and life will overcome and the innocent will again prosper.

St Matthew 13:36-43 |  Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”  He answered, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;  the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.   Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age.  The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers,  and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.  Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Death Knell

The bell tolls for those who would rob the innocent of their lives.  The innocent are the unborn and the vulnerable elderly - those deemed useless by wicked men.  Unprincipled politicians and dictators commit entire societies to the blasphemy of unjust wars against their own populations and others.

St Luke 13:22-30 |  He went on his way through towns and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.  And some one said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.  When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us.’ He will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’  Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’  But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!’  There you will weep and gnash your teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves thrust out.  And men will come from east and west, and from north and south, and sit at table in the kingdom of God.  And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

Let it be said again and again in the hope that the perpetrators of abuse, murder and misery might listen and be saved: repent!  Turn away from evil toward the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

2 Chronicles 7:14 |  If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

The future is a society free from coercion to kill the innocent.  Those who believe we are better off when mindless ideologies are poured into public schools and into politics are mistaken.  Malicious people who attempt to rule others are manifesting their inner turmoil.  The misuse of power to enact compliance with mind-numbing policies is exposed and rejected.  The allies of abuse and ideological mischief are consumed by their own policies and dispositions.

Revelation 12:12 |  Rejoice then, O heaven and you that dwell therein!  But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

But what of wars and rumours of wars?

St Matthew 24:6-13

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: all this is but the beginning of the sufferings.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.  And then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another.  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.  And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold.  But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Endure to the end. Put on the full armor of God.

Ephesians 6:11-13

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
