It is the opinion of this blogger, a person whose immediate ancestry includes two First Nations in Canada, Black and Creole settlers from the Southern United States in the mid-1800s, and English peoples, that bad actors - including politicians, so-called educators, and members of the media - have on many occasions deliberately promoted a false narrative to provoke dissension for financial gain or other unjustifiable advantages. Where excavations have taken place, no burials related to residential schools have been found.
