"A dictatorship of the worst kind."
A Dictatorship of Relativism
Every day new sects are born and we see realized what St. Paul says on the deception of men, on the cunning that tends to lead into error (cf. Ephesians 4:14). To have a clear faith according to the creed of the Church, is often labelled as fundamentalism. While relativism, that is, allowing oneself to be carried about with every wind of “doctrine”, seems to be the only attitude that is fashionable. A dictatorship of relativism is being constituted that recognizes nothing as absolute and which only leaves the “I” and its whims as the ultimate measure’ … - Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, from George Cardinal Pell's The Dictatorship of Relativism: Address to the National Press Club; Canberra, 2005.

For Canadians who acknowledge Prime Minister Trudeau's actions toward peaceful protestors as draconian, as a massive over reaction and overreach of power and therefore unacceptable, the speech by a Member of the European Parliament was an accurate and expected exposure of Mr. Trudeau's actions.
Mislav Kolakušić, MEP, former judge at the Zagreb Commercial Court and former president of the Croatian Association of Judicial Advisers and Trainees, levelled the following assessment of Mr. Trudeau's actions during a recent speech.
Dear colleagues and citizens, Prime Minister Trudeau. Freedom, the right to choose, the right to life, the right to health, the right to work, for many of us are fundamental human rights for which millions of citizens, for which millions of European citizens and peoples around the world, have laid down their lives. To defend our rights and the rights of our children we have acquired over the centuries, many of us, including myself, are willing to risk our own freedom and our own lives. Unfortunately, today, there are those among us who trample on these fundamental values.Canada, once a symbol of the modern world, has become a symbol of civil rights violation under your quasi-liberal boot in recent months. We watched how you trample women with horses, how you block the bank accounts of single parents so that they can't even pay (for) their children's education and medicine, so that they can't pay utilities, or pay for mortgages and their homes. To you, these may be liberal methods. For many citizens of the world, it is a dictatorship of the worst kind. Rest assured that citizens of the world, united, can stop any regime that wants to destroy the freedom of citizens(.) - Mislav Kolakušić MEP (Croatia) | March 23, 2022
At the outset his speech, MEP Mislav Kolakušić turned and faced PM Trudeau seated directly behind him. Unlike other hard-hitting confrontations when PM Trudeau left the room when his actions were questioned, Mr. Trudeau remained in his seat.
Shining a light on PM Trudeau's abuse of power.

- Question for written answer E-000702/2022 to the Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Rule 138
- Subject: Actions of the Canadian Government in the convoy protest
- On several occasions the EU has condemned human rights violations in various countries. The European Commission has also issued strongly worded admonitions to Hungary and Poland, stating that the principle of the rule of law has been placed in jeopardy. In December 2021 the infringement procedure was once again initiated against Poland. To the surprise of many, however, the EU failed at the time to condemn the violence exercised by the police of Spain, an EU Member State, against voters in Catalonia.
- In 2020 Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, defended the demonstrations organised in Delhi, in which a bridge was blocked, and defended the right to peaceful protest. Does the Commission or the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy intend to condemn the measures used by Canada against peaceful protest in the Canadian convoy demonstration, and what is the EU’s position on the Canadian Government’s actions against peaceful protest? Canada has decided, inter alia, to freeze the bank accounts of persons taking part in the demonstrations, and has threatened to arrest peaceful demonstrators.

Canadians woke up to another day of willful ignorance on the part of the mainstream media. Given the highly selective attention of the legacy press to foundational issues, one might be forgiven for doubting the integrity of members of a national profession - a vital element of any free society upon which citizen's rely - who are charged with the sublime responsibility of providing citizens with unadulterated and complete information about, for example, a nation's elected officials' behaviour. The Canadian press habitually fall short of that obligation, a duty that foreign press agencies seem readily capable of upholding.
CONSTITUTION ACT, 1982PART I
Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:
Guarantee of Rights and Freedoms
1 The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.Fundamental Freedoms2 Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:
(a) freedom of conscience and religion;(b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;(c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and(d) freedom of association.
A notable exception to the silence.
Intercessory Prayer
Must we pray for Justin Pierre James Trudeau? Yes, we must. He is in need of every prayer for his conversion to the teachings of the Church he claims as his own. Sadly, given his astonishing obstinacy, it may take a crisis of epic proportions to set him on a course whereby his soul may profit from God's hand of mercy. We must never give up on anyone, even when so many of a person's actions contradict the will of God. And so, pray we must that God may provide Justin Pierre James Trudeau with the opportunity or opportunities to come to his senses, to embrace the Catholic Faith without compromise, to live the Faith in the public sphere so as to be a witness to the goodness of God. May Justin Pierre James Trudeau and his entire family, and for that matter all cafeteria Catholics, shed the sophistry of the times, the tendency to promote the culture of death. May they/we wholeheartedly respond to God's invitation to holiness, integrity, charity, hope, to newness of life in Jesus Christ. As we approach the Passion of the Lord, may we in all humility and with grateful hearts embrace the commandments of God.
To the Prime Minister of Canada, and to us all, the Lord says
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you. - The Holy Gospel according to St. John 14:15-17
For the Prime Minister of Canada and the Premiers of the Provinces.
LORD of all power and mercy, we beseech thee to assist with thy favour the Prime Minister of this Dominion, and the Premiers of the Provinces. Cause them, we pray thee, to walk before thee in truth and righteousness, and to fulfil their office to thy glory and the public good; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
