insolence deposed

insolence (n.)

late 14c., from Latin insolentia "unusualness, strangeness; excess, immoderation; haughtiness, arrogance," from insolentem "unusual; arrogant"

Ironies abound.

Though every organization, it seems, has an anti-bullying or anti-oppression policy and a team of peer counselors (and tribunals and lawyers... oh my!) dedicated to mitigating playground, office and classroom intimidation, a generation of bullies has emerged, bullies emboldened by their successes in complicating others' lives.

Exodus 20: 12 | Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Permissive parents do not control or regulate their children’s behavior. So their children are less aware of the limits of acceptable behavior. They also exhibit worse impulse control and have more behavioral problems. When facing stressful situations, they are more likely to resort to using aggression. Studies have found that children raised by permissive disengaged parents tend to have less empathy leading to worse social skills. They generally display more anti-social behavior. - Pamela Li, MS, MBA

Too many young people are having their disordered passions unleashed by misguided administrators, social media influencers, the legacy media, and indifferent and indulgent parents, themselves exemplars of the sexual revolution. Their offspring frequently display violent tantrums or engage in conspiracies that attack their targets' character, or both. When challenged, said teenage and twenty-something yobs exploit every means in their arsenal in an attempt to deprive their elders of their livelihoods and rob them of their reputations, and to deny their contemporaries peace of mind and normal social interactions. They use their smartphones to record and exploit their targets who are frustrated by passive aggressive behaviour, gossiping and serial interference in classrooms, families and communities.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 | And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Many young people have become assassins, brutal spectators basking in faux-victimhood and thrilling to the success of their conquests, utterly oblivious to the fact that they have become the very monsters they claim to hate. Their peers are intimidated into compliance with cruelties of one kind or another, cruelties as only irrational little monsters can concoct. Their incivility is corrosive.

There have been too many casualties in universities, public schools, community organizations, businesses and families. Society is waking up, albeit slowly, to the vicious behaviour of adolescents whose thirst for terrorizing their elected adversaries has been enabled to a degree unseen since the cultural revolution in China.

In his book “Woke Inc.,” Ramaswamy advocates for removing limited shareholder liability from social activist investors like BlackRock, because limited liability is meant to protect business activities, not political ones. Ramaswamy argues that if social activist shareholders want to pursue their political objectives, they ought to carry the same risk as other social activists. He also argues that if investors like BlackRock want to confess that they’re not truly interested in political objectives and stakeholder capitalism is nothing more than a scheme to make money, then they should say so. - Jamil Jivani NP

We in the West are seeing prosecutions and purges enacted against citizens who dare to question the moronic and maniacal ideologies of college students gone wild. One need only to witness the noisy videos of college students protesting speakers invited to free speech lectures and other forums in order to confirm the threat to fundamental freedoms and culture. Yelling youth spit fury in an attempt to shout down ideas they find offensive. They appeal to woke ideology to justify their behaviour. They cannot provide a cogent reason for their objections and insolent behaviour because none is possible.

It goes without saying that the badly acting believers of woke religion do not realize they are merely pawns for ideologues engineering a program (pogram?) of social realignment, those who could care less about the human collateral damage in the pursuit of shaping societies into their own broken images.

Tolerance will reach such a level that intelligent people will be banned from thinking so as not to offend imbeciles. - F. Dostoyevsky

Given the actions of the protestors in the linked video, a reasonable and caring person could ask whether or not their mental health is a factor contributing to their threatening behaviour. Regardless of the mental state of protestors, anarchic behaviour is not acceptable - in a classroom, lecture hall, grocery lineup, home, hospital or whathaveyou.

Attempts by raging youth to censure law-abiding citizens are a rejection of the responsibility to act in a civil manner in a free society. The right to protest must also respect the fundamental freedoms of others who hold peaceful rallies to make known their thoughts.

Let's not be naïve. The stated goal of many contemporary movements is the intentional destruction of law and order - in the city, in the family, and on campus. They care not about the casualties they create when inflicting violence on people of goodwill who empathize with others subject to injustice.

The Woke ideology is colonizing Western Civilization. This ideology views the world through a Marxist-inspired lens of “systemic power dynamics” that divides us between the “privileged” and the “oppressed.” This colonization has successfully captured many of our noblest and most vital institutions through time-tested strategies and tactics. People from almost every sector of life are concerned about this capture but feel paralyzed and helpless as this ideology activates itself and wields its power. The good news is that Woke tactics are predictable and can be countered. - Charles Pincourt  & James Lindsay.

Our response to attempts to deplatform reasonable people and reasonable messages by irrational mobs must be measured and strong and, when necessary, involve the participation of law enforcement and the courts to restrain and deter violence. We must use simple direct questions that cut through the ill-informed banter and verbal assaults imposed by protestors who aren't so much protesting as they are acting like agents of repression and violence. Their belief that they are invincible is their weakness.

We must hold up a mirror to those who indulge violence of any kind. That mirror will show them who they have become when they behave in a manner that undermines their humanity and the humanity of others. That mirror is the truth, the truth spoken in a beautiful way for the good of souls.
