Conspectus: doom comes swiftly.

Deuteronomy 32:35
Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.
Romans 12:9-21
Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; never be conceited. Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” No, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

John 15:18

If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

God is in Control
Holy Gospel for TRINITY IX | St. Luke 12:49-53
I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.
Injustice Tests Forbearance

This we know...
Our brethren are sharing in the Lord's sacrifice.
(S)i Dios acepta el sacrificio de mi vida, que mi sangre sea semilla de libertad y la señal de que la esperanza será́ pronto realidad.

(I)f God accepts the sacrifice of my life, may my blood be the seed of freedom and the sign that hope will soon come true. - Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez, bishop and martyr
What can we and our future selves learn from this present era?

Perseverance in the Faith; trust in the Lord.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Fear Not The Fragile Foe

To put it bluntly, the morally deaf hide behind corrupt policies and tidy inquiries that bury facts and enable them, hypocrites and undeclared sinners that they are, to weaponize their imagined superiority. They, the hobbled administrators, and the ill-informed and ill-willed media pundits and politicians who enable virtue signaling and character assassination, should practice their Nuremberg defenses for when they are brought to book - in this life or the next - to give account for their complicity in attacks upon reason, civility and justice, and assaults on decency and innocense that have caused so many people unnecessary suffering and loss.

Exposing the Assassins
Smart bullies ... rely on a full arsenal of uncivil behaviours such as acts of rudeness, belittling comments, creating and spreading rumours, or purposely misinterpreting (...) requests or instructions, that serves to undermine (...) authority and credibility, distort communication, and block change. They use micro-politics to create allies and infiltrate committee structures and decisions to camouflage themselves as the real bully or instigator.
(...)
Incivility may stand alongside bullying, but is more insidious in nature because it occurs in everyday interactions. It is the very fact that these types of behaviours are noted as being a part of most workplaces that makes incivility so difficult to categorize and to create policies to combat. - Lynn Bosetti, professor of education at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan and former dean of education at universities in Canada and Australia.
The merciful Lord makes use of a varied arsenal to effect justice.
  1. Influencers, social scientists, artists, commentators and satirists, are incorporating to publish videos, host seminars, sponsor lectures and other live events, that challenge slumbering citizens to defend common sense, and to empower peers to engage and deter churlish activists in public venues.
  2. Many comedians have gone on the offensive. That is, they are offending their ideological cousins. Comics are now howling mad at their tilted kin after realizing how dangerous a threat their antics pose to free speech.
  3. Politicians with backbones. Governor DeSantis in Florida, siding with parents over serious concerns about public school curriculums, has also deterred corporations from attempting to own that state. People are flocking to Florida from California, New York and Illinois, in an attempt to escape warped bureaucracies that are robbing economies of their stability and potential, neighbourhoods of safety, and families of their futures.
Brick by Brick

Courts undoing legal sophistry; and inalienable rights are not so alien.
Medical institutions operating on fact and not indulging fiction.

Ideologues are robbing young people of their innocence, and imprisoning them in a lifetime of misery after their bodies and minds have been mutilated by the imposition of dangerous chemical treatments and surgeries.
Universities are (much) slower at fanning away the voguish smog choking their classrooms. Allergic reactions to extreme leftist/liberal ideologies are, however, beginning to emerge. Antibodies of reason and fairness are mobilizing to expose bullying by intolerant mobs, moronic policies, and to lobby for just working conditions for contract workers and professors who abide by the ethic that students and colleagues should demonstrate actual achievement of academic excellence in order to earn first-class recognition for their work.

Clarity & Distinction

The Dies Irae
p. 1026, Divine Worship: the Missal
from Masses for the Dead

XV
With Thy sheep a place provide me,
From the goats afar divide me,
To Thy right hand do Thou guide me.

XVI
When the wicked are confounded,
Doomed to flames of woe unbounded,
Call me, with Thy saints surrounded.

So then, to recap:
Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality.

Might we add - pray the Rosary!
