A Prayer For Grace To Honour The Divine Will

O Almighty and everlasting God, Thou knowest the hearts of all men. Thou knowest their true intent. Bestow upon Thy servants a plenitude of Thy grace to aid the redirection of every realm towards the Holy Gospel. Expel any nefarious ideologies that stand in opposition to Thy divine will, and bestow upon the ministers of the same Gospel the requisite talents to fulfill Thy Holy desires; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who doth live and reign with Thee, O Father, and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

POPE LEO XIV Magnifica Humanitas

Even in the darkest nights, the Lord raises up men and women who refuse to give up, who persevere in doing good, who protect the vulnerable and open pathways to reconciliation. The memory of the saints, righteous people and the oft-forgotten peacemakers, show us that grace does not magically eliminate conflict, but instead it inspires active resistance to evil and an astonishing creativity in doing good” (paragraph 211).

THOMAS SOWELL

PSALM 6

WORDS TO THE WHYS
