WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

I doubt not then but innocence shall make false accusation blush, and tyranny tremble at patience.

A Lent Of Discontent

Detail | Last Judgement | Sistine Chapel

The Church is long into a night, a night of apostasy among many of her children. Many are consorting with demons. They:

  • disfigure the Sacred Liturgy.
  • attack innocence.
  • traffic in deceit.
  • foment rebellion.
  • embrace worldly agendas.
  • shun the call to holiness.
  • attempt to empty the Lord's Gospel of meaning.
  • pay lip service to the Gospel.
  • reject the commands of the Lord Jesus.
Rather than calling sinners to salvation in Jesus, they reject virtue and encourage vice.

Impostors!

Much guilt lies at the feet of priests whose abominable assaults against children is the filth warned about by the Holy Father Benedict XVI.

How much filth there is in the Church, and even among those... in the priesthood.

Depravity!

Sin and indifference infect and fill the naves of parish churches that have opened their doors to the world of sin. With the exception of attendees of tradition-minded parishes, Catholic couples practice artificial contraception at a rate equal to secular couples. PEW LINK

Repent Rome!

By "Rome" is meant the clergy of the Holy See and Rome, and all of us! The Church of Rome is that which was founded by Jesus on the Apostle Peter. Rome is the see of Peter and Paul. Rome remains the First See of Christendom. Rome is without heresy, though some of her senior clergy's sermon's echo the devil's lies.

Saint Irenaeus | It is within the power of all, therefore, in every church, who may wish to see the truth, to contemplate clearly the tradition of the apostles manifested throughout the whole world; and we are in a position to reckon up those who were by the apostles instituted bishops in the churches, and the succession of these men to our own times; those who neither taught nor knew of anything like what these [heretics] rave about. For if the apostles had known hidden mysteries, which they were in the habit of imparting to ‘the perfect’ apart and privily from the rest, they would have delivered them especially to those to whom they were also committing the churches themselves. For they were desirous that these men should be very perfect and blameless in all things, whom also they were leaving behind as their successors, delivering up their own place of government to these men; which men, if they discharged their functions honestly, would be a great boon, but if they should fall away, the direst calamity.

Since, however, it would be very tedious, in such a volume as this, to reckon up the successions of all the churches, we do put to confusion all those who, in whatever manner, whether by an evil self-pleasing, by vainglory, or by blindness and perverse opinion, assemble in unauthorized meetings; [we do this, I say,] by indicating that tradition derived from the apostles, of the very great, the very ancient, and universally known church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul; as also [by pointing out] the faith preached to men, which comes down to our time by means of the successions of the bishops. For it is a matter of necessity that every church should agree with this church, on account of its preeminent authority.

Rome cannot fall; Jesus promised that to Peter. The gates of hell will not prevail against Jesus' Church established on Peter. There is no other Church other than Rome and those in communion with her. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we work for the salvation of souls.

POPE LEO XIV Magnifica Humanitas

Even in the darkest nights, the Lord raises up men and women who refuse to give up, who persevere in doing good, who protect the vulnerable and open pathways to reconciliation. The memory of the saints, righteous people and the oft-forgotten peacemakers, show us that grace does not magically eliminate conflict, but instead it inspires active resistance to evil and an astonishing creativity in doing good” (paragraph 211).

SAINT FRANCIS DE SALES

Have patience with all things - but first with yourself. Never confuse your mistakes with your value as a human being. You are perfectly valuable, creative, a worthwhile person simply because you exist. And no amount of triumphs or tribulations can ever change that.
